Head of IT & Digitalisation, Nimlas Finland Oy

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious professional to join Nimlak in the role of Head of IT & Digitalisation, to lead and develop the IT function and take the company’s digitalisation to the next level in Finland.
Role and key responsibilities
In the role of Head of IT & Digitalisation, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of Nimlas’s IT environment, digital solutions and technological development. The role combines strategic development with practical implementation. You will report to the Finance and Administration Director and lead the company’s IT team. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the decentralised and agile organisation of a company that is one of Finland’s leading players in the sector, where your key areas of responsibility will include:
• Planning, implementing and continuously developing the IT strategy to support business objectives.
• The management and development of IT infrastructure, systems, information security and services.
• Ensuring the continuity, reliability and development of IT services.
• Management of the IT budget, supplier relationships and service partners.
• Managing IT project activities and coordinating and monitoring development projects
• Developing digitalisation, automation and the use of data to support business operations.
• Planning and implementing an AI strategy, and promoting the use of AI solutions within the organisation.
• Ensuring information security, compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Developing IT architectures and supporting the integration of business acquisitions.
• Close collaboration with business units, system owners and colleagues in the Nordic countries.

Furthermore, the role is central to developing Nimlas’s growth, profitability and competitiveness. We are looking for someone who:
- Several years’ experience in IT management, the development of digital solutions, and the management of digitalisation and transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud services, information security, IT architectures, and the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions or the management of AI development.
- Experience in managing projects, budgets and supplier relationships, as well as a willingness to travel within Finland and the Nordic countries where necessary.
- A strong understanding of business, a strategic approach to work and the ability to turn technology solutions into tangible business benefits.
- The ability to inspire and motivate a team, build cooperation with various stakeholders, communicate clearly, listen actively and exert influence without a rigid hierarchy.
- The ability to make decisions, implement changes and achieve tangible results.
- Fluency in written and spoken Finnish and English; knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage.
