Headhunting

Headhunting

The decisive factor in the direct search process is not the different stages, because they are different.
operators are quite similar, but how the steps are managed. Equita believes
that it pays to keep people at the centre of the whole process - in every
in the encounter.

Having the right skills and the right attitude is absolutely crucial to the delivery of a company's strategy. That's why recruitment decisions are so important.

They say that culture eats strategy for breakfast - and in our experience, there is a grain of truth in this cliché. It takes experience and insight to understand the culture of a company and mirror it against the values of the candidates involved in the process.

Equita Talent Partners' consultants are experienced leaders who bring their insight to every direct search process for the benefit of our clients. Having been a business leader yourself, steering companies through change, you have internalised what it takes to make change happen. And when you have personal experience of the challenges of cultural change, you can form an understanding of the skills required to lead change.

The right leader at the right time

The right people are rarely found by chance

Headhunting is the art of seeing potential even when it is not yet visible. We look for leaders who will not just fill the role - but drive the business forward.

Headhunting is listening, not hunting

The best encounters happen when you understand both the company and the person.
It's not about quick discoveries, it's about making the right connections - the ones that stand the test of time and build value.

We see potential before it is visible

Real knowledge does not always shout its existence.
We recognise it in the tacit signals - experience, attitude and the way we think beyond.

Leaders find leaders

Experience teaches you to see what good leadership really requires.
That's why we recognise the people who not only lead - but make others grow with them.

Weeks of uncertainty during the process is very emotionally draining for candidates, and the thought of a stressful process can discourage them from engaging in the debate at all. Equita reduces the emotional burden on candidates by being as transparent as possible about what happens next and when we will next be in touch. We also give personal feedback to candidates who do not continue in the process.

Two perspectives - one goal

At Equita Talent Partners, no one does the direct search alone, but for every process
always involves at least two consultants. We select people for our client teams who have
experience either in the client's industry or in the job you are applying for - or both. This is how
we can quickly catch up with the client's objectives and, if necessary, bring in our own
our views in the debate.

Teamwork is also a key element in achieving quality. When several consultants form a common view of the client's needs and the suitability of the candidates, the thinking is richer and the vision is developed through discussion. More brains think together better than one.

Candidate experience is a key qualitative element in direct searches, as it has a direct impact on employer image. For the candidate, being involved in the direct search process is always relevant - after all, it involves a possible change of job. It is important for the candidate to have as much information as possible about their potential future employer and the role to be filled, so we at Equita put a lot of effort into this.

When time is tight, quality matters

Speed also plays a role in direct logging processes. When the need for recruitment is acute, it is often someone has already resigned, so a successor is needed to continue the job as much as possible quickly, so that day-to-day management is not compromised and development projects are not delayed. Equita a large team is also useful for the client in such a situation. We agree with each a precise timetable for the project right from the start and we stick to it. We can to complete our part of the process in a few weeks without compromising quality, because we have more than one person doing an intensive phase of work.

We carry out assignments throughout Finland and Sweden. Find out how the headhunting process works In Helsinki, In Espoo, In Vantaa, In Tampere, In Turku, In Oulu, In Rovaniemi and In Stockholm.
