Bat. Power became part of the international ELKO Group on 2.1.2026. The group's Nordic subsidiary, Gandalf Distribution AB, acquired a majority stake in our company. Our turnover was EUR 25.3 million in 2024, with significant growth in 2025. 

Job description and role

In the mission you will answer Bat. Power Oy's overall financial planning, management and development. You will act as a member of the company's management team and as a strategic partner, playing a key role in the implementation of the company's growth strategy and integration into the group.

Key areas of responsibility

• Building and managing the finance function/department, including currently a team of one financial assistant and outsourced accounting/payroll.
• Responsible for budgeting and financial statements.
• Improving reporting and ensuring the financial governance of the company.
• Supporting business budgeting and management.
• Supporting the Group's development projects and cooperating with other Group companies.
• Financial planning, financial risk management and responsibility for financial reporting.
• Reporting to the group.

You will report to the CEO and, in the matrix, to the Group Finance Director in Sweden. 

Expectations for success in the role

To succeed in this role, you need to be a change leader who is firm, pragmatic and able to build on the bigger picture. We expect you to be able to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.

• Education: Appropriate commercial training.
• Experience:
  • Several years of experience in SME finance.
  • Experience in financial management and development.
  • Experience in import and/or technical wholesale would be an advantage.
  • Experience of managing people is an advantage.
• Competences:
  • Strong expertise in managing accounting and business support functions.
  • Ability to perform all financial management tasks at a practical level.
  • Excellent knowledge of systems, analysis and reporting.
  • The ability to build a structure for the finance function that supports growth.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English as a working language (oral and written).
  • Good communication skills on financial matters to the organisation. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
• Persona: Firm, straightforward and efficient. You are not afraid to ”put your hands in the clay” and take a hands-on approach, especially in the early stages. You are efficient and systematic.
