Retta Management - Group Controller

Our client Retta Management is on the threshold of a new era. Ownership has changed and the group is building its next growth chapter with a strong vision.

In this new role for the company, you will build and develop a new kind of financial governance for the future. You will create, influence and experience success.

You will become part of a working community that combines professional ambition and humanity. We work with a big heart - learning from mistakes and growing stronger together.

Could this be a job opportunity that appeals to you professionally?

More about the new Group Controller role

Retta Management's renewed organisation is currently building common operating models. Your vision is needed to build a modern, Nordic financial management system based on sustainable growth principles.

You will combine strategic focus and operational activity by creating group-level governance models and reporting structures, and by providing day-to-day support to the group's management and business units by providing timely and reliable financial information to support decision-making.

An important part of your job is to develop financial processes and systems. You will identify needs and help drive decisive developments in areas such as automation and digitalisation.

By taking responsibility for financial reporting and analysis, you will have a real impact on how the company is led towards its goals in line with its strategy, based on data and insights. Your work will directly support business and change success at both group and company level.

As the task is new and there is a lot going on around you, not everything in your mission statement is set in stone. We will work with you to build a mission that interests you.

Retta Management as your workplace

Retta Management is building the group's next growth platform with the support of Adelis Equity Partners. The company's good reputation, renewed brand and profitable business form a strong foundation for the new strategy. The launch under the new name and brand will take place in Q1/2026.

As the activities expand, Nordic cooperation will be strengthened. Finland and Sweden are building common, modern operating models.

However, the company will retain an operating model where decisions are made where they have an impact. This gives you freedom, responsibility and the opportunity to make decisions. You will collaborate extensively with professionals from different areas of Retta Management.

At Retta Management, we live our everyday lives according to our values. Success together, bold renewal and responsibility are reflected in the way we treat our colleagues, build solutions with our customers and lead change in a human way. In a warm working community, colleagues are cared for. The company has therefore been awarded the Most inspiring workplaces in Finland award.

Why do we think this role is special?

A new role on a new frontier

The Group Controller is a completely new role, where you create group-level control models and reporting structures from scratch. You are guaranteed to put your vision into practice.

Opportunity to influence and develop

Your role will combine strategic and operational work - building new processes, BI and reporting solutions, and supporting management with financial analysis for key decisions. A key role - we'd say.

International responsibility

You will work in close cooperation with the Finnish and Swedish units - and in the future also with the other Nordic countries - as part of a joint Nordic transaction. You will expand your own network and build important relationships for your career.

A modern and evolving economic environment

You will work with a pioneer in the industry. The focus is on development, digitalisation and automation, so you're not just maintaining reporting. You'll grow your own skills and those of the organisation as a whole - you'll develop and evolve.

What skills do you need?

We think it is important that you have previous work experience in a Business Controller (or similar) role, preferably in a corporate environment.

You will have experience in the relevant systems (ERP, finance, BI, banking and financial systems). You will also be familiar with Excel and the various calculations, financial data and analyses.

You're already skilled enough at these to translate your experience smoothly into guiding development work. You've already been involved in automation and digitalisation in your sector. Development work is also something you enjoy doing.

You are precise and analytical in your approach, but you also have a natural ability to think outside the box. You're no stranger to stepping into new situations, let alone being intimidated by changes in plans. You're determined and driven - definitely a factor.

You also enjoy working with others and communicate fluently with people who see things from different perspectives. For those who work with you, you are an inspiring colleague.

You will need a good command of English to do your job. It is also a good idea to have a valid passport.

How does that sound? Could this be the one?
