Country Controller - Synsam Group Finland Oy
Our client Synsam is looking to recruit, as part of their renewing and growing organisation, Country Controller in Finland.

Your role and influence
As Country Controller, you play a key role in Synsam Group Finland's finances - you are responsible for internal accounting, manage external accounting in the matrix, support the management team and drive new processes that support the company's profitable growth and internationalisation.
Together with your team, you will build economic visibility and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. You will be involved in developing efficient, modern financial processes and BI solutions that combine analytics and business insight. You will collaborate with different business units on a daily basis.
This is a task where strategic thinking and hands-on action go hand in hand.
You will be given responsibility and space to develop both your own and your organisation's skills.

In this role, you will build financial visibility that genuinely supports decision-making from store level to group level. The results of your work will be directly reflected in business performance - in sales management, efficiency and profitability. You will be part of the development of the Group's financial operations and also work closely with Nordic colleagues.
About you
We are looking for an experienced financial professional with:
- experience in group-level reporting and financial management
- ability to build and manage financial processes - preferably experience in BI solutions (e.g. Power BI)
- Fluency in Finnish and English, Swedish would be an advantage
- experience of managing people and good interpersonal skills
- willingness to work in a hands-on role - we all work together
- external accounting skills
- a genuine interest in development
Experience in the financial operations of a retail or international group environment is an advantage, as well as experience in ERP systems development and knowledge management processes.
